Overview

Athletes need more than rest and ice. They need an accurate picture of what was injured, why it happened, and a structured plan to return safely without losing fitness. Sports medicine at Arbor Creek combines diagnosis, hands-on treatment and progressive training.

With graduate training in biomechanics and certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist, Dr. Bhakta looks at how you run, throw, lift or swing, and treats the pattern as well as the injury.

Who it helps

  • Sprains, strains and tendon pain
  • Overuse injuries such as shin splints, tennis or golfer’s elbow and runner’s knee
  • Return-to-play after injury
  • Off-season conditioning and injury prevention
  • Youth and masters athletes
