Overview

Pain often fades before function returns. If a joint is stiff, a muscle is weak or movement has become guarded, the problem is likely to come back. Physical medicine and rehabilitation close that gap with progressive, targeted exercise and hands-on therapy.

Dr. Bhakta holds a master’s degree in biomechanics and human movement and is certified by NASM in corrective exercise and performance enhancement. Your program is built from a movement assessment, not a generic handout, and progresses as your body adapts.

Common questions

Don’t see your question? Ask at your first visit, or request a consultation.

Is this the same as physical therapy?

It shares many methods, delivered within a chiropractic and integrative practice so that your rehab, adjustments and other care are coordinated by one clinician.

Will I need equipment at home?

Usually just bands or light weights; we design programs around what you have.

How often will I come in?

Often once or twice a week at first, tapering as you become confident with your program.
