This is foundation of functional medicine. A form of nutrition that focuses on optimal physiological functioning of your cells. When your cells are nourished with the right nutrients, the root causes of your symptoms are addressed. The purpose of functional nutrition is to use food as a natural medicine to heal the body, correct nutrient deficiencies, and restore balance.
Health coaching can be supplemented with health literacy strategies and effective communication techniques, such as ask–tell–ask, teach-back, and/or action planning to ensure patients understand their care plans and help them achieve their goals.
This program is specifically for those who are ready for health and lifestyle changes. We will work weekly in 1-hour sessions for a total of 12 weeks. You will receive personalized guidance and feedback during each session. This can be done congruently with other therapies and modalities.
